Wallaman Falls / by Ethan Astall

After going for a dip we headed for Wallaman Falls. At 268m high it is the biggest waterfall in Australia. there was a viewing platform from the car park and then a 2km trek to the bottom. Once at the bottom we were absolutely speechless. The water falls so far it turns to mist before it hits the bottom. We had packed some flippers so Dan and myself had a crack at swimming underneath it and succeeding woooo. It was like being in a Cyclone just constant wind and water you could barley even see. After getting out and taming the uphill trek back to the car park we thought wed go figure out how to get to the top. We found the river and just followed the bank all the way to the edge. Giving us a view of the valleys and the pool below, it was breath taking.
